It's Science Fair time again! This is the participant set up that was used for the subjects in my daughter's science fair project. My 10 year old conducted her "experiment" at church last night. Her goal is to see if listening to music (specific types) would affect the time it takes to put together a puzzle. Her classmates all filled out a questionaire asking them to rate, according to their tastes, the 5 different types of music we used. Then, we played a type of music and timed the puzzle completion for each participant. Then we switched puzzles, and switched music and did it again...five times. Not particularly scientific, but they did have fun doing it.
This was actually on a list of suggestions handed out by the teacher. I think it's a kind of silly one to pick, but it did not involve living creatures so we ran with it! :)
