050411 - this is EUR 3000

Today was the day (day plus 5): I injected myself with Neulasta, which is some sort of Neupogen-depot.

The package, which is just one small injection, costs about EUR 3000,- (my country's health system is covering this).

Hmmm - my life is becoming more and more valuable...

Hello k, thank you for writing. re: deer shot I also feel that (very) bad times give one a chance to look at the world with a new awareness. It's during these times when small things that you would never notice suddenly give you joy and peace. The small deer grazing no ten meters from me was one of the most beautiful and peaceful things I have seen in my whole life. I felt like "if that small beautiful animal is grazing so peacefully and gracefully, the world can't be that bad and crazy after all". Best regards, Carl

But you are worth it of course :) That Deer shot was lovely. Its amazing how at times when you are feeling low that nature takes your eye like never before. What i mean by that is, you will look at a tree blowing in the wind or notice the colours of leaves and the sunset and small animals etc. Things that if we are honest we dont normally take the time to appreciate. The world is actually a very beautiful place for the most part and we all take too much for granted. I try to remind myself of that as often as i can.
