You were obviously in a creative period a year ago -- using a less complex camera as well. Still another image well done in terms of incongruity and meaning. Actually a double incongruity -- pigeons using a gate meant for people, and also very small things making use of a very large space. The snow path sucks us in, past the old gate and deep into the image, where bricked up windows and a very dark dead end awaits both us and the pigeons. The black and white format takes away all warmth and evidence of life, leaving only the cold snow, the heartless building, and two very frigid pigeons.
