Light

The sun was setting behind me, and dark storm clouds
remained in front of me. The light was nothing short
of incredible. I was at the Water Garden in El Cajon,
snapping pictures as quickly as I could in this absolutely
golden light.

Later, driving away, I had the amazing experience of
being under blue skies, and a bright sun, and nonetheless
having rain pouring down. Behind me, in the rear view
mirror, I could see not one, but two shimmering rainbows.

It's been quite a storm.

Oh I love that sort of sky. Here in the subtropics have seen it often & when the sun picks up the leaves it becomes a golden wonderland just like this. Great shot Gary.

There is a great composition and a beautiful detail (the seat under the tree). The light i agree that is unusual and it adds a lot to the image!

You're right Gary. Unusual lighting. What an eerie experience. I think it is going to dry up?
