I am taking a Studio Lighting class at the University of Tennessee. This is a Personal Development type night class for beginners in Photography and studio lighting.
The very patient gentleman whose name I do not know volunteered to be the model for tonight's photoshoot. He is also a student in the class.
We are divided into groups for each sessions shoot. Tonight my group was not shooting just watching/learning. So I snapped off a few quick shots while other students were making adjustments to the lighting equipment.
I was not connected to the studio lights and I didn't want to fire my on camera flash so I had to crank up the ISO to 400 and hand hold the shot at a long shutter speed to get this image. So sorry for the noise.
I have another candid of him being patient, here. http://www.pbase.com/lundy/image/39530052
Here are some examples of the student's that were shooting views. Again remember that I was handholding and not connected to the studio lights so theses are rough images.
