Wow... I know I am a year late weighing in with my opinion here, but I would say that this gritty one is the winner. The background isn't as distracting. The catchlight is amazing and the gritty hands bring the whole thing together. I MIGHT want to see a tighter crop but I'm not sure. No matter, this is brilliant.
