Bald Eagle. Surely not first rate but as good as I've got so far.
Based on the makings on it's head it looks like it is in the the Basic III Plumage stage that would put it at about 3 1/2 years old.
I first thought it just had a dirty head.
Having not researched it before I was under the impression that
bald eagles changed color in a short time. They really change over a few
years. An immature eagle goes through 5 color changes, one each year,
starting with a brown head, body and tail. In the fifth year they are
considered mature with a white head and tail and brown body.
