Blooming

My first Camellia bud on my new bush has opened. The bush that was in its place met a tragic accident - my husband is still in trouble for that one. Today was dreary and gray. I couldn't get the branches to stop blowing in the breeze, so this is not as crisp as I would like. My poor daughter tried holding it for me, but that didn't work either.

It's beautiful!! Stupid wind. But I like the soft focus. I want to hear the story of how your husband destroyed it. LOL.

I like the red of course as well. This is a nice rich color and beautiful captured in this image against the green and brown tones.

Beautiful. It surely brightens up this bleak, grey day.

It may be suffering from a little motion blur, but the colors are as glorious as can be. It's a joy to see.
