According to my wildlife book, this is possibly a hybrid of a mule and white tailed deer, common on Vancouver Island. I spotted these guys eating someone's lawn as I was running errands along Blekinsop Road in Victoria. I'm glad I had my camera with me.

It's surprising to me that you can shoot pics of those deer up close with a 80-200mm lens
