Hi Bill. I came across your website and admire the pictures. I was in
Costa Rica some years ago and enjoyed it immensely.
The bird below ( Osprey 0594.jpg ) is not an osprey - the osprey is only black
and white. This bird ( orange beak + legs and a single (!!) white stripe across the tail
is a Semiplumbeous Hawk ( Leucopternis semi-plumbea )
