Bad Penny

I took this at the Zoo. The boat is a typical Lafitte skiff with out rigging. I had one exactily like that I trawled out of for years. The background building is a nursey where you can see baby animals native to Louisiana.

Wonderful capture! Great scene - the boat, reflection and roof are so wonderful that I almost missed the bird.

It looks like you've photographed a juvenile yellow crowned night heron as well.

Nice shot Breland. THe reflection of the boat looks like it has more curves in the water than the real thing. If that makes sense. Interesting
