Hi folks!
I am happy that you found your way to this gallery and I hope you have a good time, here and where ever you are on this planet.

Last year 2004, I show one couple of Stats who had their honeymoon tour so that they had stayed at the motel with a room window face to the Wall while they got up at very early morning pull up the curtain with first sight of a Wall out of the window where they had dreams when they were high school...but all around the Wall there are so enough simple houses offered by the local farmers...why not have a try if you afford your time to take more pictures and adventures explore to the untouched section of the Great Wall ...here you may find a huge rock beside the road with carved Chinese words read from up to down "Jintang" that indicating the firmness and stoutness of the wall and this remind me a story on this part of the wall which many books tells the same one. the story roughly like this :"the place here named Huanghuacheng which means Yellow flower City .early in the Yuan dynasty, here used to be dotted with properous villages and later till the Ming dynasty, it became a town of military importance, nemed Benzhenguan Pass which means with over hundreds pass gate are get ready to prevent a attack from outside. the construction began in the Ming dynasty, and according to legeng, under the supervision of General Cai Kai, due to the accusation of jerry-build by a treacherous official, General Cai was beheaded by emperor. and after a years later, when an official sent by the emperor to the wall found the wall actually was solid and steep instead of the output of jerry and slipshod work, the emperor realized that he had wronged General Cai. so that in this regard the tomb of Cai was rebuilt pretty soon, and a offered him two characters above as a memorial stele that still exist under the wall. you may also see a small dam which built with the brick of the wall and some local farmers said every family here used the bricks of the wall built houses ,fence, even stable houses for chicken etc...from this can be reflected the different value on that time... l the wall are serious damaged by wind and rain over 4 hundred years. Right down slop 40meters there is a family Inn of local farmer. you may have a cup of coffee or a cup of Chinese tea. Kindly served table and seat to enjoy the big view to the wall? during the summer times specially, more and more residents from Beijing drive their own car to spent their weekend and also many western hikers come visited this beautiful place. Some of them even slept in watch tower of the wall with their sleep bag and some of them had a chosen overnight at local farmers Inn although most of Inn offer very simple furniture only but more fun if had a big beer and load voice speaking?many visitors who I asked them had a nice tour here or not?all of them respond with smile ?very good? enjoy it very much and some of them lived in Beijing . This is a pretty nice place to spend weekend and to explore the wall, we are quite often come here for fun specially at summer, because here much comfort than the city and we are work in for over five years now, all of my friend coming to Beijing from States I must be drove them here to see the wall. they enjoy it . said one States guy who lived in Beijing already three years since 2001. following picture is one of the Inn of local farmer Mr.Zhang and his nice wife She may cooked very good Chinese dish with wild grass even and next picture to show a group people play Moh jong the re . the people from Beijing friendship store unit when they had their summer weekend here--Huanghuacheng.
