3 main valves - they're either up or down, and that determines which route the air goes through.... quite clever really!

Thanks Gail. Quite a challenge to find a PAD each day, and I've only just started... you might see the Euphonium from quite a few different angles - and maybe even in action! although it really needs a good polish first :) Have a Happy New Year!
