At sunrise and sunset (or there abouts) members of the forces (different ones at different times) march from the Palace at the side of the Zocalo round the square with drums, bugle and sometimes a band and lower or raise the flag. It's an amazing spectacle - best in the morning when it's barely light and the sound echos round the empty square - makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
