This is a group of people protesting in Downtown Vancouver for not having enough nude beaches in the city.
Vancouver has a very open culture. Not only there is a nude beach (Wrack Beach) next to UBC, but also it is the first city in Canada (probably first in North America too) to legalize small quantity marijuana possessions and to provide free safe injectors to drug users on the street. British Columbia, where Vancouver locates, was also the first province in Canada to recognize same sex marriages. Every summer in downtown Vancouver there is a Pride Parade with thousands of participants. The parade was originated by the local gay and lesbian communities but has evolved into a very large event and sometimes the mayor joined the parading groups too.
