Lamy Safari fountain pens

The Lamy Safari was designed to encourage teenagers to take up the
fountain pen in the hope that they would, in their later, wealthier,
years, keep the company going by buying more expensive fountain
pens, but it has proved to be popular with other age groups too,
including mine, and some consider it to be the ultimate writing
device of its kind. It can be left unused for a couple of weeks
and yet still write immediately. In this respect it is better than
most ballpoint pens that are thought of as being convenient.

These are shown with the black Medium nib, which is the default one,
but they will also take a 1.1 chrome nib giving crisp Italic script.
