The domed building in the background is the Bourse de Commerce, or mercantile exchange. It's on the west end of the Forum des Halles, which at ground level is a park. In the foreground, a mother and son exchange glances in the Place René Cassin, in front of the St. Eustache church. If you turn to the right, you see Henri de Miller's well-known head.
