Veey effective capture of a down pour. Novbody seems to have noticed that you desaturated everything but the bush and the grasss to "enhance" the gray, rainy day effect. Nice.

Looks like not a lot of sympathy from the New Englanders, and I won't break the string. However, rain does seem a little overdue in your neck of the woods. Hope you didn't get too wet running for the paper :)

Nice pic! Sure was nice to get some rain today, for sure. I was woken up at 6:00 this morning, the rain was so loud! I ran out and got a rain jacket so I can get to school this week on my motorcycle without getting soaked. I'm also glad my bag is a lowepro stealth reporter 600aw - has the weatherproof cover - good for motorcycling in the rain. -Andrew

I spent nearly five weeks in Novato/Napa and it never rained apart from the day I came back to the UK (preparation I call it). I could get used to rain being unusual.

for days like these, I am glad I have a dog . . she runs out in that stuff and gleefully returns, paper in mouth, dutifully drops it at my feet and prances about until she gets a treat . . her daily reward for keeping me dry and comfortable every morning =]
