Negotiating the Gutter by John down under

near a duck pond, Golden Grove, Adelaide, South Australia


These maturing Australian Wood Ducklings and watchful adult (tactically situated between me and the ducklings and not by accident) had no trouble negotiating the gutter as they made their way back across the street to the local pond.

Great capture John. Those guys sure are tamer down under! They must be going after food. All you need to do now is train your ants to do this - duplicated in Macro would be awesome.

spring really is in full swing in adelaide - these guys look pretty comfortable in the urban environment - another great capture - i enjoy the contrasts here. thanx. adrianox
