This was taken about 7.30 am today. The yellow glow of the past few days was back
as the sun got higher. Decided to take another photo for the heck of it. Wasn't until I downloaded it that I saw how heavy the smoke cloud was so at the risk of boring you all to death I decided to make this todays PaD.

beautiful shot but I do hope those fires don't get any closer. poor you having to breathe that nasty smoke in! :(

hope the winds shift and keep the smoke away... I like the layer effect in the sky... the smoke made an interesting filter for the sun

Hi Laine! Haven't seen your earlier photos but you must be in the bushfire area ... I fear this is not going to be a very good summer with still no rain to speak of. Anyway nice capture and now I'll go have a look at your earlier ones.
