I went down the hill behind the house to fill the bird feeders this morning. I noticed
all of the beautiful seed heads on the native grasses. This one was a bit unusual!

Yvonne is right there are lots of colors in the seedhead.... I enlarged it to the original to see them..... beautiful...how observant of you to find this twisted grass...lovely

I made an observation about Fall a few days back...how it seems to be a time of declining life, but in fact life is re-seeded, and readied for Spring. I love the natural twists and tuens in this, Petesie. Nice.
