But they're not there today,
and the gate is open.
Maybe they've escaped,
or been taken to pastures new...

This is a lovely pastoral image. It reminds me a lot of Monet's haystack paintings ... Wonder what those darn gots got up to ..? Perhaps they've gone to that ... BIG haystack ... ?
