I have been sick for several days and today was the first time in a while that I felt like taking a walk around the yard.

Only snapped about a third of the pictures I would normally have taken.

Also rescued Beau from wandering in the neighbor's yard (he's been a shut-in with me as I don't let him out on his own).

I was amazed by how much has changed in a week. Summer has truly faded, closing down its affairs and getting ready to make the handover to Autumn.
I wasn't really ready to say goodbye yet.

Found the thing in the yard that most resembled the lost summer and took its picture quickly.
