I actually got to tour this one, it gave me the shivers when looking out the gunports over the 50Cals. My dad was stationed at a B-17 base in Chelveston, England in WWII. He was on the crash crew, and later pretty much ran the vehicle tire depot there. When he was on the crash crew, he drove what was said to be the largest wrecker in the world, at that time. He has a lot of stories...some very sad. When you think of how these guys gave their "all"....He remembers on the Schwienfurt Ball bearing plant raid, how they all waited for the planes to come back, they waited and waited, only one came but to another base.

What a great shot! Amazing to think what was
seen through the front. And the paintings they'd
do on the sides shows the ability to keep a sense
of humor, even in the most difficult of times. A
wonderful tribute to all those who've made our world
a better place to live in. Great gallery, makes me pause.
