Parliament

This is parliament. The ministers or government sit in the farthest section. The members of parliament sit in the rest of the seats. The members are arranged by political alignment from the prime ministers viewpoint (in the front middle). So to his left sit the left or liberal parties and on through moderate all the way to, um, ahem... conservative. The only exception to this is the extreme left which sit in the back next to the door. Why you might ask, well let me tell you now. It is a rather interesting story really. Ok whatever. So the reason is that they keep their seating arrangements throughout there entire time in office (4 years I think) and at the beginning of every session of parliament (once a year) the queen comes to pronounce the session open. When she stands up everyone in parliament must stand. However the communist and extreme socialist refuse. But it would be a terrible insult to the queen to remain sitting, so right before she stands the exit through the back door and when she sits the come back in. Fun stuff.
