1st: Eye of the Staircase by Gordon W

This could be looked at in at least two ways - 1. the inside curves of the staircase form the shape of the human eye with the spindles of the railings serving as eyelashes (here’s lookin’ at ya ;-), or 2. the stairs swirl around the center as in the eye of a storm.

Or, like Georgia O'Keefe's paintings, interpreted as the female anatomy!

My wife recognized this upon first viewing at an angle.

Fabulous shot. The mundane turned into fine art.

Terrific.
View #3. The railing rides the edge of the storm.
Clone in hardwood for the carpet and watch the change in the photo.

Looks familiar. :-) Very beautiful interplay of those curves... and nice lighting.
The carpeted bit distracts me a bit. Cheers, Matti
