Distribution: Sri Lanka, Rameswaram Island, India, East of Rawalpindi in Pakistan and Nepal to
Bhutan and West Bengal. Natural diet: Seeds, fruits, nuts, flowers, pollen and leaf buds; damages crop in fruit plantations and rice fields in some areas.
