9/04 winner - taken 7/31/04

1st place intermediate B&W, MWCC

Up bright and early for a "photographer's" early admission to the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. While there, finally found a nice IR scene - clouds, water, vegetation and a structure. Still not 100% on how to best process IR. And here's a more recent shot of a different gazebo http://www.pbase.com/image/32145089

Nikon Coolpix 5700
1s f/4.6 at 10.7mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice work on your gallery, very subtle yet very firm... the beauty of IR.

This photo catches my attention immediately. It's the gallery winner for me.

I'm into digital IR also. Take a look at my IR gallery if you have the time, we might be able to learn from each other

I think you did put it all together with the photograph. Great IR plus terrific composition.

Nice composition, pleasing design. This shot is very appealing, would be so whether in IF, B&W or color. - fotabug

Cindy, I used a Harrison & Harrison 88a IR filter on my CP5700. Processing was curves to do levels and brightness adjustments; added a touch of noise; extracted the green channel to convert to pure black & white.

Looks to me like you did a great job on this. Whats not to like?? I love it. What filter and process did you use? I want to get an IR filter also, just another item on my wish list. :-)
