I took this photo on my trip through Java, Indonesia near Bandung. I was very delighted by the friendliness and openess of the people. Most of them were also very eager and pride to pose for photos.

This worker on a large rice field was stuck quite deep (as you can see easily...) in the mud preparing the field for harvest when I was approaching him. I was surprised how quick he managed to get out of mud to actually pose for me (without even me asking him). I love his pose which really exudes pride and inner content.

One of my alltime favourites.
