And now, for something completely different...

I've been wanting to try something like this -- ultimately working on another idea that I have.
So these are sort of just preliminary shots (no pun intended!).
Still don't know what the heck I'm doing...

This picture was taken with the white balance set to 'flourescent', in morning light. The other two below were taken with normal settings.

I actually think the next one is my favorite even though it's a little dark (and has a little of what I call my "drunken tilt"):

Nice glass, but better fill it, the 22 year old cask strength is just a dream from Ardbeg.

Touch choice Carmen, but I'm a little more partial to the dark one, only because the reflection of the lettering is so pronounced.

A good choice in whisky... the name of my home village too: Ardbeg on the Isle of Bute :-)

I think the darker one is my favorite too. I love darkness in photos, even though alot of people don't.. nice the way the wording is shadowed on the surface.
