I like the smooth profiles of the canoes and the reflections on their "undersides." The isolated stems of grass sticking out of the water are cool too. Very nice photo, even if it does document a sad event. :-)

"Police reported today that several aluminum canoes beached themselves on a dock at Grants Narrows. It was unclear what caused the mishap, but the water that day was unusually serene. Volunteers tried for hours to coax the boats back into the water, to no avail. A photographer captured the scene shortly after the beaching."
