Flowers in the dump

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

A girl in a garbage dump in Phnom Penh. Just a second... She has just found this flower and spontaneously posed with it, I was lucky that my camera was ready... Kids were like flowers in that place

that really is a spectacularly good photo, with lovely colour and expression and perfect composition. (And I love the extended pinkie on the girl's left hand). V

Bravo for your really good photos I am really are really impressed. Great work!
I am a graphic designer and I propose one of them for a document

It will be use in a «brochure» in French and in English printed at 6 000 ex.
For the moment I need this photo: 43068895.stIMG_2940fW1
It’s ;ook like this one but in a different plan
Please tell me you tarification for that

Ive been to Phnom Penh, and it was challenging, I dont know if I have either the courage or the skill to go to where you have been and bring back such a poignant reminder of our shared humanity. Exceptional capture ... voted

Fantastic. So strong and so much better than words...
Please send your pictures to NGO's.
I'm sure it can decide a lot of people to help children who are in this unacceptable situation.

Amazing, just like Salgado, you had exposed the proudness of poor people.
Guest 07-Aug-2004 21:10
Her smile is what gives this image a powerful feeling for the plight that she must endure. You have captured the essence of the human spirit shining for a moment. Well done, excellent photo.

I cannot express my feelings about this image in a few words, but here it goes.
There were only a handfull of photos I saw that moved me as much as this one. The other one is your photo of an older brother feeding a younger brother a coconut with the straw...
I read somewhere you want to become a photographer. I think you are one.

Don't give up.

Best regards,
-Miro
