I have just read (12/27) that Richard Adams passed away on Christmas Eve.
He was the author of my favorite book, Watership Down.

16 years ago, I went to England for the first time, and one of the side trips I took was to the area
where the book Watership Down was set.

I didn't get out and walk around, but I got this close. I took a right at this tee, and drove on the
way to my next destination, looking around and soaking in as much as I could.
