Missile Race 2

Same as the 1, except that it was actually shot before nr.1. Less motion trails, different framing, no motion blur (yeahh without tripod!). Beautiful light, see you next year for more motion trails...

hehe, not a need... but an obligation of motion blur!! it was so dark and they go so fast, that unless I'd shoot at ISO3200 or something, I can't do without a little motion blur ;-) but yes, there's the choice of capturing the boats with a little blur, or deliberately making a long trail like in "Missile Race 1". I need a tripod! thanks for your comments.

I don't think there's a need for motion blur. The wake is enough to show the motion, and is the dominant element of the image. I also like the reflections in the water and the twilit sky. --Garrett
