We were pleased to find "white glove" dim sum here. The ambience was serene and the waiters were more refined than the average dim sum purveyor. Most of the clientele were businessmen, and several young men looked like they were serious eaters from Hong Kong. This was a very good sign, since diners from Hong Kong have sophisticated palates and are constantly on the prowl for new thrills. The calligraphy artwork on the wall was so highly stylized, our waiter was surprised when I correctly deciphered each character. (People at my senior center also used to think that I couldn't read Chinese, but I shut them all up once and for all by reading aloud from a Chinese newspaper one day.)
Please see the next picture for some dim sum close-ups.
