"Anger"

I noticed today via JILL'S
photo that today was 'seven deadly sins' day. Well can't say I've really joined in today but when someone or something pisses you off then maybe do as the lamb did?

It's actually the lamb from the other day
and the tongue is real, not added in Photoshop!!

I guess we all have little things that piss us off on a daily basis – my electric bills came today! Was only the other day that I saw the chap come to read the meters and know that he was able to get access to the meters and yet he left a card saying he was unable to take readings and would it be possible for me to do it? Strange really as one of the meters is outside? Still I took readings and rang the number – of course they close at 5pm and the next day I was put in a que. Well as I was lambing at the time I thought sod this and didn't wait. Of course I forgot all about it very soon afterwards!! I'm not bothered about paying an estimated bill really as will always 'square up' next time … but to actually double both bills?? Then when I looked at the bills closer I noticed that the 'Farm' is paying more for it's electric than my house (on a per unit basis) and yet the farm uses a lot more juice BUT it all comes down the same line of course! Doubly pissed off now as the chap who is paid to read the meter is to friggin idle to do his job and my (n)power supplier is trying to rip me off TWICE.

Worse when I went to get the post (sometime this afternoon Post Office!! … is that the second delivery you wrote to tell me you would be discontinuing?? Like we ever had one!!) I find it's not even ours in the box, but our near neighbour Lynn's who when I called her found she had ours in her box!! Seems they can't deliver the post to the right house now. We often get some of Lynn's post mixed in with ours … which reminds me Lynn – Jayne says you can have your 'adult catalogue' back soon in case you were wondering why it hadn't been delivered ...... ;))

A lamb blowing a raspberry. Who'd 'a' thought?!!
Very nice, John - oh, and don't even get me started on the royal mail...!!

Adorable, and seems the tongue is the last thing anyone uses anymore when something pisses them off!

In the scheme of things it's at best an inconvienence but pales in insignificance against real life and death problems? I say this after reading Joy Fender's photo of yesterday??

Great photo John. Re. the electric bill, once dad refused to let them give him an estimated bill, so they told him to read it himself, and forward the reading. He completely read it wrong, and ended up with a bill for £900 instead of about £60. As you can imagine this didn't go down to well with commandering chief (mother)!!!

Hi John , great shot .Do you know , the exact same thing has just happened to me , the man who is supposed to read the meter last time asked me where it was , so i told him. I then got an estimated bill and a letter to fill in and read the meter myself .I couldn't find the key , looked everywhere , tried to open the door with a pair of pliers whch didn't work . Finaly I found the key , opened the door to find it full of spiders , I HATE SPIDERS !!!, so I'm trying to press the button with a ballpoint pen so i don't have to put my hands in there and I was thinking to myself I shouldn.t have to be bl**dy well doing this when someone out there is being payed to do it .It now turns out they have really under estimated it and i am going to have a huge bill to pay , ITS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH , I SAY!!!.

Oh this is so cute!! I love these lamb shots! And the face is hilarious! I understand you rant, so annoying those things....hey, at least you are taking good pictures, on less thing to annoy you!!!

Oh don't worry ... they don't bother me!! I'll just ring them tomorrow and have a good bitch at them in the full knowledge that when the replacement bill comes it will be just the same as the one they've just sent! As Jill says - tomorrow will be a better day, not that today has been bad at all - except it rained tonight! "More rain - more grass for the cows?"

Hang in there John ... that stuff can really be a kick in the pants. Love the tongue here!

What a funny expression!

How appropriate for your image to be this little lamb giving a what for with his tongue as in a good tongue lashing to electric and mail. We have the same issues with the same companies here too..incompetent employees and we the customer end up paying for it.

Tomorrow will be a better day.
