Serving Movement

Texas

As she goes through her serving movement, the only part of her to stay still ,at this exact moment, appears to be her bottom.

I was just kind of messing around and this was the last in the series of this action. I was more focused on the beginning of her serve since she sticks her bottom way out and I wanted to give her a hard time about it. yes it is my daughter. I will go back and see if I caught the ball leaving. I kind of liked the movement of the ball on this shot. Those volleyball shot are tough, such quick action and bad gym lighting. thanks for the comments though.

This has struck a chord with me as I used to play club volleyball and coached for a while. I have some old 35mm shots taken at net level of players spiking the ball. I wonder where they are?
I'd have to agree with Victor, it would have been better to capture the ball as it leaves the servers hand, difficult I know.

Hmmm. I think it would have been better to catch this just at/after the strike. -- Victor
