question: What phrase are you GUARANTEED to hear in Miami if you mention it's cold, and happen to be a native New Yorker, even if it's been decades and your blood has thinned by now?

All of these comments, and none of them mentioned the reason why this image really works: the degree of abstraction has reduced it to its essence -- mystery. The gloved hand, the fur coat, bury the person within it -- she is hiding from us. And the frame further reduces the person to a suggestion. No face, no skin, no place. You leave our imagination to do all the work, and that is what photography is all about. Bravo, Robin!

Yes, I went to Tampa during May..being that I walk every morning..oh my was it hot..sweat dripping off my brow after being out for 5 minutes..return to Alabama the end of May..and froze my buns off!
