Our Corkscrew Willow (Salix Tortuosa) needs pruning every two years.
All the branches come off.
In two years time they will have grown back to the size you see now.

Holy crud! That often? I hope the tree provides good shade or is at least pretty.
If not, I'd cut that sucker down and plant something a little less high maintenance. =)
