Water tanks provide an ideal shelter for species such as this Peron's tree frog (Litoria peroni) which would normally live in hollow
trees. This frog was photographed on a stinking hot day (note it lifting its toes as even the plastic pipe was hot) and the water
tank would have been the best place to hide.
A difficult photo without a telephoto..
