I caught this monster on the last cast of the last day of our trip to South Andros, Bahamas in 2001. He was suspended over a "blue hole" which is a sink-hole on the flats that looks dark blue and seems impossibly deep right in the center.

The cuda took my small bonefish-sized Clouser Minnow, with no wire leader. I fought him for about 45 minutes and expected him to cut off at any second of the entire fight. Somehow the line hung in there and we boated the monster. I estimate that he weighed 35-40 pounds. He looked to be an older fish and pretty skinny for his great length.

Biggest fish I've ever caught, and what a great end to the day and the trip!
