I took this one on my first outing with my new camera (a Canon Rebel 300D and its kit lens) to the Palo Alto Baylands duck pond. I hadn't used an SLR camera for many years, and this was my first go with a digital SLR. Someone linked to it shortly afterwards, and since then it's been one of my most viewed photos.
