Pimiento is Spanish for pepper. I think in some places it's also used for cinnamon.

I guess my brain read it as 'Pimento', since I don't know what (or who) a 'Pimiento' is. I'll call it 'Red Boat #1' from know on :-)

I hate myself for saying this, but the title is wrong - there's an extra "i" on the boat. (Sorry!)

Interesting comment about making it calmer. I felt such calm serenity in this shot. It was the end of the day and all the little boats were tired out and neatly tucked in for a nights slumber. Maybe that's why the tilted reflection bothered me? Maybe subconsciously it was disturbing my rest. I just want to climb into the picture, wrap myself in a blanket on the floor of the boat, and take a blissful nap. :) ~ Lonnit

With the reflection tilted, you can tell either the boat is moving or the water is (or both). If you straighten the reflection, I think you'll make the image calmer.

Thanks for the comments Lonnit. This was a tough image to get because the boat was blowing around. I took about 20 shots trying to get the reflection and shadows just right. I'll try straightening the reflection and see if it improves the image....

Really nice! I'm stupidly getting hung up on the reflection being slightly tilted. I think I'd have straightened it in photoshop (and probably have ruined it! LOL!) Again that professional feel to it. Wonderful! ~ Lonnit
