Hi Vincent!
What you are showing is nice but it is NOT a flare.
A flare is a great brightening, usually on the disk, due to the impact of energetic particles coming from the corona where a restructuring (reconnection) of the magnetic field is occuring.
What you are showing is a PROMINENCE ERUPTION. It could show a spiraling but it could equally show a giant wave propagating along the eruption. What would be interesting is to check the timing of this event and the eventual occurence of a CME on EIT and Lasco data.
Congratulations.
S.
