Hey ISO, great stark background which pulls out the whites of your eyes. I always appreciate unconventional compositions as well. Nice job. Jim (shutter)

This is a good example of "less is more" (In architecture, this was the mantra for the modernists, originally coined by the famous German, but US-based architect Mies Van der Rohe. As a funny aside: later, the postmodernists changed that mantra to "less is a bore"). Very simple - very effective! Any particular reason why you cropped just below your mouth and not below your chin?

Terrific image. It "draws power" from the novel composition (very effective!), the high-character expression, and the sterile background. Well conceived and executed! You bring energy to the gallery. --Joe

Great expression. The simplicity of the left side of the photo makes it work perfectly.

LOL! Very funny. They say everyone is a bit asymetrical, buy you have taken it to extremes! Good idea well executed :-). Lisafx

Not me... but I could have. I also like it. Very intense expression. Interesting how you get a whole feeling from half a face. Neat image ISO. Ann
