Dad's car 1940's Chevy? Might be 1941 Plymouth P-12

Jeff Knapp grew up here, 9517 Colton Ave in Elk Grove California 95624-1806.
photo of me on the left, dad on the right taken probably 1955 or 1956.
My younger brother Randy was born 06/13/1956. Photo may have been
taken by my mother or by my uncle Ted. Black and white photo of photo.
This is my dad's car. Maybe a 47 48 Chevy 4 door fleetline or stylemaster.
[not Aero] and [not fleetmaster] ? This might be a 1941 Plymouth P-12.

I have a 1941 plymouth and I will say it looks just like the one in your picture the difference between the 41 ply and dodge is most easily defined by the body lines behind the rear wheels. Plymouth had 3 close and low Dodge had 3 wider spaced and levl with the top of rear tire. That picutre is hard to tell but they almost look high like a Dodge

Hey Jeff, sorry man but this pic of the back part of a car is not a Chevy. I pretty sure it is a Dodge. Not being Dodge man this is my guess. I would suggest that you go to the Vintage Dodge owners web site and look around at the other pics.
Just trying to help, I know how important these old family pics are. Peace, Bruce.
