After I posted the picture of the sunflower yesterday, two things happened:

1. the light changed and the sun came out and shone through the petals.
2. Linda took a much better picture of the same sunflower!

So, I thought I'd try again. Same sunflower, no tripod, 1/8 sec and spin the camera. Much happier with this image!

(Oh, and for the cynics out there, this image is "as is" direct from the camera, absolutely no photoshop, just resized for pbase.)
