Excellent shot! If not for the crispness and the bit of modern truck poking out in back of Otto's I'd have guess it was taken in 1935.

Hi Lianne,
Sorry to have confused you. I used to work in Scranton once or twice a year. The center of town struck me like it was in a bizarre time warp.
I saw this truck in an ally and had to shoot it.
I lifted the name "Uncle Otto's Truck" from a Stephen King short story in the collection Skeleton Crew. I have another oldie from Maine which I'll have up soon.
Story aside, did you dig the beauties in "The Bridges Of Madison County"

Vince, what a honey of a truck, she's wonderful! and your uncle has her? you lucky duck :o) ...just the other day i drove past a 40s ford p/u for sale -- didn't have the camera with me tho so i have to try to remember where i saw it and get back there...it's a shade of green i've never seen before, and of course, she's a beaut! :o)
