In Japan I often took pictures of the trainline crossing I passed everyday.
Perhaps this will be my equivalent in Australia.

The nice part about Australian tramlines is that you can, in fact, stand in the middle and get this leading line perspective. (Just don't try that with heavy rail.) I recall from your shots of Japanese ones that you would be boom-gated (which I have decreed to be a verb), and with good reason.
