Hillsboro, North Dakota

Traill County lies between Grand Forks and Fargo, and the county courthouse (cornerstone laid in the summer of 1906) sits in Hillsboro, a town of not quite 1600 people...the building seemed a grand one for such a small place

had a good look for a few minutes, liked the unexpected structure here, yet thought the view a tad sober...thank goodness the woman in the magenta blouse came along

Definitely an impressive courthouse for such a small town, but well captured. I agree the woman adds some life to the scene.
